BOM readiness check
Most sourcing problems start as data problems. Drop in your bill of materials and see what a supplier would find wrong with it — before you send it to one.
WHAT THIS CHECKS
- Which of the 12 standard BOM fields you have
- Lines with no manufacturer part number
- Distributor numbers used in place of MPNs
- Duplicate parts across separate lines
- Reference designator count vs. quantity
- Missing revisions, units of measure, quantities
- Active silicon in allocation-prone categories
WHAT IT CANNOT
- Live lead times
- Lifecycle and NRND status
- Inventory depth across distribution
- Allocation exposure at your volume
- Named alternates and change scope
Those need live market data and an engineer's read. That is the paid assessment.

Your BOM never leaves this page. The file is read and scored entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, logged or transmitted anywhere — close the tab and it is gone.

The part this can't see is the part that stops your build.
A structural check tells you the BOM is well-formed. It cannot tell you that the optical AFE on line 41 is on 26-week lead time and single-sourced. That takes live data and someone who has qualified a second source before.
