BoM risk register and weekly report
Every engagement keeps one risk register: one line per part that could stall the build, with a candidate remedy, the change it would need, an owner and a date. Each week the client gets a short written report built from it. Both live in the client portal; here is a sample of each.

Summary
The build is on track for Jan 12 if two decisions land this week. Three parts are past the build date at today’s lead times; two have candidate alternates in evaluation and one needs an order placed now.
Decisions we need from you
- Optical AFE (U7): choose one of the two candidates for the DVT spin, by Nov 14. Both need a footprint change; datasheets and the comparison are in the portal.
- PO approval: nRF5340, 330 pcs (300 + 10% build allowance), via your authorized distributor account. Ordering by Nov 3 keeps 4 weeks of margin.
Orders
| Part | Qty | Status | Expected |
|---|---|---|---|
| NRF5340-QKAA-R7 | 330 | Awaiting your approval | Dec 29 |
| GRM155R61A105KE15D | 9,000 | Ordered | Nov 18 |
Changes since last week
- DRV2605L quoted lead time moved from 18 to 22 weeks; second-source samples requested.
- BMI270 bring-up started on 5 EVT boards (your firmware team); first readings expected Nov 10.
Next week
- Confirm the haptic driver pinout and samples.
- Re-check lead times on all High and Watch lines.
